Listing and Selling property in Calgary (or anywhere)
You can’t do anything about location, but…. Be aware of regional trends in your area.
Every property will be different and have a unique set of circumstances. In general the more that you can do (in the time available) the better. Here are some issues to consider:
Landscaping… clean and neat outside is important… trees trimmed, doggy doo cleaned up, snow shovelled, leaves raked etc.
All interior and exterior lights working…. No compact florescent bulbs!
Floors, walls and counters thoroughly cleaned;
Is paint required anywhere?
De-clutter as much as possible;
Anything that is broken, squeaking or not working properly should be fixed.
Consider property staging… this can pay big dividends.
Professional quality photos to show your property in the best possible light…. After you have done the fine tuning to the house.
Be aware of pricing and market conditions specific to your area.
